Delivery with Assembly

Depending on the type of supply and the client's needs, Dhomeo can entrust the installation/assembly to an extensive network of local partners (a network cultivated over decades of experience), or directly to its own installers, who are Dhomeo employees, highly specialized, and carefully monitored.

The Delivery with Assembly service forsees Home Delivery and Furniture Assembly; the removal and disposal of packaging are included as per normal (specific situations may occur that prevent this operation).

Seeing as Home Delivery is a first phase that is strictly neccessary for Delivery with Assembly, we reccommend that you consult the characteristics of the service, particularly regarding Accessible Stairways, Bulky Items and External Lift.

Responsibilities of the End Client and Distributor

The End Client is required to be present and relatively involved during the assembly process.
Should this not be possible, it is crucial that the End Client or the Distributor delegates this presence to individuals who are fully informed of the End Client's wishes and expectations, the operational procedures of the assembly service, and who also possess the autonomy to make decisions in their interaction with the installers.

It is the responsibility of the Distributor (or of the person delegated to be present):
- to ensure that the access routes and the assembly area free of obstacles and in an overall clean condition;
- to provide access to electrical power in the designated rooms/premises;
- to report the location of any systems potentially conflicting with the assembly of the furnishings (typically electrical or plumbing systems hidden within the walls);
- to verify the adequacy of the walls for securing the furnishings using 'standard' anchors (a thickness of 12 cm is a necessary but not sufficient condition for the support of suspended furnishings; additional factors such as the tensile strength of the covering panels or the internal wall material, or the plaster's resistance to vibrations, are the sole responsibility of the Distributor);
- to verify the conformity of the components before proceeding with the assembly;
- to confirm the placement of the furnishings by indicating the exact desired positions to the installers;
- to confirm the conformity of the furnishings after assembly has been concluded.

Completion of Operations

Any anomalies found in the products or the environment may inhibit the completion of the assembly. In such cases, the installer will evaluate the situation to decide how to proceed and whether to complete the assembly.

At the end of the assembly, the End Client (or delegated person) must verify the received furnishings with the installers, and sign the 'Acceptance Certificate' (in some cases, this is a two-copy paper document; in other cases, it is the signing of a specific form on the installer's device).

Once the service is concluded, the installers will leave the work area in an orderly and overall clean condition. The packaging materials will be collected, folded, and either positioned at the point within the property indicated by the End Client (it is the End Client's responsibility to indicate a location that complies with any condominium regulations and municipal directives), or removed and disposed of (if that specific service is indicated as 'included' for the delivery area).

Services Not Included

The Delivery with Assembly service does not include:
- the dismantling and removal of used items;
- special processing of any kind, the execution of which can only be carried out in workshops with specific equipment;
- plumbing or electrical connections;
- the use of chemical anchors for wall mounting (where the walls may not be suitable for securing via standard anchors);
- future adjustments that become necessary after the natural settling of the furnishings (e.g., hinge adjustments, sliding doors coming off their tracks, adjustment of opening/movement mechanisms);
- any service or work performed following the initial delivery and installation.
